Modern Luxury with a Contemporary Twist

For this penthouse in Cairo’s prestigious Beverly Hills compound, our vision was to create a space that redefined luxury for a modern age. We aimed to craft a home that felt both grand and welcoming, a personal sanctuary where global sophistication meets the vibrant heart of Egypt. The goal was to design an environment that exudes wealth not through ostentation, but through a meticulous attention to detail, a flawless interplay of high-end materials, and a sense of effortless grace. This is a residence designed for comfort, elevated by a powerful aesthetic.

Our strategy was to build a home of layered luxury, where every element contributes to a sense of refined living. We began with a clean, contemporary canvas—smooth surfaces, neutral tones, and expansive views—and then introduced rich, tactile layers. The design focused on creating visual harmony and a seamless flow between spaces. We integrated custom-made elements, from the marble joinery to the bespoke furniture, to ensure every piece felt intentional and unique to the home. Lighting was a key tool in this strategy, used to sculpt spaces, highlight textures, and create a sophisticated, warm glow that transforms the apartment as the day progresses.

The soul of this apartment is found in its lavish yet understated material palette, chosen for its intrinsic beauty and lasting quality.

• Primary Surfaces: The walls are a serene, off-white, providing a calm backdrop that allows the architectural details to shine. This is contrasted with a feature wall behind the sofa, composed of dark wood paneling with an intricate, geometric pattern that adds texture and a sense of bespoke craftsmanship.
• Hard Furnishings: The flooring is a large-format, polished marble with beautiful, natural veining that lends an air of timeless opulence. The central, low-profile coffee table is also crafted from a solid block of this same marble, creating a sense of monolithic elegance.
• Seating & Textiles: The main sofa is upholstered in a pristine, white fabric with a subtle sheen, providing a clean, bright anchor to the space. Accent chairs are covered in a soft, light gray fabric, adding a layer of comfort and tonal variation. The cushions introduce a touch of pattern and color, with hints of muted bronze and silver.
