Project Story
After spending her entire life in Saudi Arabia, the client—an Egyptian-Saudi national—chose to settle in Mountain View, drawn by its architectural charm and strong community spirit. She envisioned a home that reflects both her refined Saudi upbringing and her Egyptian roots: a space of elegant quietness, rich in texture, and thoughtfully designed for comfort, gathering, and solitude.
From the entrance to the master suite, the villa is enveloped in full-height wall cladding—each panel carefully detailed to create a seamless flow of warmth and sophistication. The design leans toward a dark, moody palette, with deep green-grays and wood tones dominating the reception, bedrooms, and even the kitchen. Despite the richness of materials, the overall mood remains calm and composed.
Two distinct living areas each include a private coffee corner—spaces carved out for stillness and ritual. The master suite feels more like a private lounge, complete with layered lighting and tactile finishes, while the daughter’s room was customized with soft, personal touches.
Upstairs, the roof level is split into two unique terraces: one overlooking the park and designed for quiet dining, the other more indulgent—with a jacuzzi and built-in seating, made for sunset gatherings and night skies.
This villa is more than a residence—it’s a personal chapter of return and belonging, written in cladding, curves, and contrast.
