Project Story
The Engineer’s Blueprint
The narrative of this project began not just with an aesthetic vision, but with a functional challenge. Our client, Ahmed, an engineer, approached the design of his home with the same logical precision he applies to his work. His brief was clear and non-negotiable: a home that felt modern and organized, without a single wall being demolished. He also required a critical addition—more storage—a problem that seemed difficult to solve in the existing footprint.
We approached the project as an elegant equation to be solved. Our design was the solution. Instead of tearing down walls, we focused on building within them. The design’s clean lines and carefully placed furniture were chosen to maximize every inch of the floor plan. The true success of the project lay in our direct response to his needs: a custom, integrated storage unit was meticulously designed and installed, providing the exact solution he had envisioned. The final result is a home that is not only beautiful but a testament to how creative design can meet even the most rigid of requirements, proving to our client that his perfect home was a precise and achievable blueprint.
Scope
Turnkey Project-scope include design and execution, furnishing, styling, outdoor design and build ending with roof top and swimming pool: concept development, fit-out coordination, tailored furniture design, and on-site styling.

The Vision: A Place of Precise Comfort
Our concept for this project was to craft a space that mirrors the client’s professional mind: a home that is both a testament to precise, logical design and a haven of modern comfort. We aimed to prove that an aesthetically pleasing environment can be achieved with the same kind of efficiency and meticulous problem-solving that defines an engineering blueprint. This residence is a space where every element serves a purpose, creating a sense of clarity and intelligent design.
Design Strategy: The Non-Invasive Approach
Our design approach was rooted in a primary constraint set forth by the client: absolutely no demolition. We pursued a strategy of non-invasive, surgical intervention, focusing entirely on a masterful use of interior space. By prioritizing intelligent floor plans and custom-built solutions, we maximized both functionality and aesthetic appeal without altering the existing architectural shell. This allowed us to meet every requirement, from enhanced storage to a sophisticated style, by building upon the structure rather than rebuilding it.
A Symphony of Materials:
The material language of this apartment is a careful composition of clean and elegant textures, chosen to create a sophisticated yet livable atmosphere.
- Primary Surfaces: The walls are a canvas of soft, neutral tones, with a feature wall of textured, vertically-striped wallpaper that adds visual depth and a sense of linear order. The flooring is a polished, light-colored tile that enhances the feeling of spaciousness and serves as a clean base for the design.
- Furniture & Details: The main seating area is grounded by a large, comfortable gray sectional sofa that balances the room’s clean lines with a sense of welcoming warmth. The central coffee table is a sleek, black polished piece, its reflective surface providing a modern contrast and a touch of high-end finish. The area is softened by a large, plush rug in a light, neutral tone.
- Custom Solutions: To address the client’s core need for more storage, we designed a discreet and highly functional custom storage unit. This solution was ingeniously integrated above the bed, utilizing vertical space to provide ample room for organization without disrupting the room’s footprint or requiring any Color Palette: A Study in Variations
The color story is deliberately restrained, using a monochromatic base to create a feeling of order and timeless elegance.
- Foundation: The palette is built on a foundation of soft grays, off-whites, and muted taupes, which creates a harmonious and serene atmosphere throughout the space.
- Accents: A single, sharp contrast is provided by the elegant use of black in key furniture pieces, which adds a powerful, grounded feel to the room’s light palette.
